Miss Fate Shoes FAQ
Shoes for Pole Dance Enthusiasts
1. Can I wear Miss Fate shoes for everyday use?
Miss Fate shoes are crafted with pole dancing in mind, featuring the structure and heel height perfect for performance and movement. While they’re not designed for everyday wear or long walks, they definitely bring some heat into the bedroom. Whether you're on stage or spicing things up with your partner, Miss Fate shoes are ready to make a bold statement. Just be sure to use them in the right context!
2. How can I ensure my safety while using Miss Fate shoes?
To dance safely in Miss Fate shoes, we recommend:
- Check that the shoes are in good condition before each use, paying attention to details like zippers and embellishments.
- Engage and strengthen your ankles before wearing.
- Avoid wearing them if you have any existing foot or ankle injuries.
- Warm up your ankles before dancing and use proper ankle support techniques.
- Be cautious on soft surfaces like carpets, and avoid running or rushing in them.
3. Are exotic dance shoes scratch-resistant?
The platforms of exotic dance shoes are made from extremely durable, hard plastic, providing excellent longevity. In transparent platforms, scratches are less visible, making them more resistant to wear.
For black shoes with a matte or glossy black lacquered platform, scratches are also less noticeable. However, chrome and other lacquered platforms are the least resistant to scratches, where signs of wear may be more visible. Additionally, the leather covering on the platform may begin to wear off with regular use.
4. What should I avoid while wearing Miss Fate shoes?
Do not:
- Dance on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Attempt advanced moves without prior training.
- Use the shoes for heavy landings or flips outside your skill level.
5. What is normal wear and tear?
Wear and tear refer to the natural aging of your shoes caused by friction from dancing, especially during floor work or when in contact with the pole. Each fabric responds differently, with some scuffing or peeling faster than others. Depending on usage, wear can start as early as the first session.
6. How can I prevent wear and tear?
- Use protection: We offer matching shoe protectors designed to reduce friction and keep your shoes in top shape.
- Perfect your technique: Learn proper dancing methods to reduce shoe impact.
- Inspect your dance area: Avoid sharp objects and rough surfaces that may damage your shoes.
7. What do scuffs and marks mean?
Scuffs and imperfections are natural and don't affect the shoe's functionality. These "battle scars" are reminders of your dedication and passion. They may not look brand new, but they are still perfect for dancing and training.
8. What if my platform or heel breaks?
Our platforms are made from sturdy materials, but improper technique can cause breakage. Please be mindful of your movements to avoid uneven pressure. Breaks due to misuse won’t qualify for a refund.
9. What is considered a fault?
- Major faults include significant defects, such as zippers that won’t close or platforms detaching after minimal use. If a major fault is found within the first wear, contact us for a refund or exchange.
- Minor faults are cosmetic issues that don’t affect functionality, like small scuffs or glue marks. We don’t offer refunds for minor imperfections.
10. Do you offer refunds for wear and tear?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for damage caused by wear and tear or misuse. However, if there’s a manufacturing fault, reach out within three months, and we’ll assess the situation.
11. How can I return my shoes?
You can initiate a return through our returns page. Ensure that shoes are in their original condition. Custom or damaged items from wear won’t be accepted.
